Using Recallr
The Brain and connections
Every save becomes a memory in your Brain. Recallr links each memory to related ones and tells you why they belong together.
Memories#
A memory is one source or note you deliberately saved, with everything Recallr learned from it: a summary, key points, the topics it covers, and the original text or transcript. Every successful save can be searched, connected on the Brain Map and cited in an answer.
Connections#
When a new memory arrives, Recallr compares it with what you already have and draws connections, each with a short reason. A connection has a kind:
| Kind | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Extends | The new save goes further than an older one. |
| Supports | It backs up something you saved before. |
| Contradicts | Two saves disagree. Worth a second look. |
| References | One points to or cites the other. |
| Related | Same subject, different angle. |
See how many connections Recallr has drawn across everyone's saves on the live stats.
Topics#
Recallr files each memory under a topic and a more specific subtopic, so your Brain organizes itself without folders or tags.
The Brain Map#
The Brain Map draws your memories and their connections as a map you can explore. It is fully available on Free.
Brain level#
The apps show a Brain level that grows as you save, ask and come back: XP, levels, daily quests and a streak that a streak freeze can protect.
