Tools reference

Thirteen tools over your own Recallr. Eleven only read; save adds a link, note or file and save_chat adds a recap of the chat, only when you ask. None can delete or change anything.

search#

Finds saves by what they said and returns the closest passages. Input: query, optional limit up to 10. Reads.

fetch#

Reads one save by id: summary, key ideas, text, timestamps and connections. Reads.

list_saves#

Lists saves, optionally from one source such as YouTube or TikTok, with an optional limit up to 60. Reads.

recent_saves#

Lists what you saved in the last 1 to 7 days. Reads.

find_connections#

Shows how one save connects to others, and why. Reads.

find_disagreements#

Shows where your saves take opposite sides, overall or on a query. Reads.

get_started#

Suggests starting points from your own saves. Reads.

review_due#

Shows the flashcards due for review. Reads.

show_card#

Shows a recipe, plan or list taken from one save. Reads.

save#

Saves a url, note or attached files, only when you ask. Up to 100 saves a day from chat; files up to 50 MB. Adds only.

save_chat#

Saves a recap of the current chat as a note: a summary, the key points and any links, written by the assistant when you ask. It never receives the raw conversation. Adds only.

view_save#

Opens one save in full inside the chat: the whole note, the image, the video with its timestamps, its key ideas and what it connects to. Reads.

save_status#

Checks whether a save has finished. Reads.

Text from your saves reaches the assistant as untrusted source material, never as instructions.
