Connect the MCP

The Recallr MCP server

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is the open standard AI assistants use to reach outside tools. Recallr's MCP server lets your assistant search, read and add to your Recallr, after you sign in and allow it.

The address#

MCP server URL
https://mcp.recallr-ai.org/mcp

You need a Recallr account. Free is fine, and the sign-in page can create one for you.

Connect your client#

How it works#

  • Transport: Streamable HTTP at /mcp, stateless JSON responses (protocol versions 2025-11-25, 2025-06-18 and 2025-03-26).
  • Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE (S256) and dynamic client registration. Your client discovers it from the 401 answer and /.well-known/oauth-protected-resource. The scope is recallr.
  • Results: each tool returns short text for the model plus structured content. Search, recent saves and saves also come with a Recallr card in clients that show MCP Apps cards.

Directory listings#

Recallr has been submitted to the Claude and ChatGPT directories and is in review. Until it is listed, add it with the address above; nothing changes for you when the listing goes live.
