Using Recallr

Save anything

Save the moment you find something. Recallr does the reading, summarizing and filing for you.

Ways to save#

iPhone share sheet#

In YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Safari, Podcasts or almost any app, tap Share, then Recallr. The save happens in place, without leaving the app you are in.

Chrome with Recallr Buddy#

Recallr Buddy saves the page you are on in one click and can answer questions about it.

Mac, Windows and the web#

Paste a link, drop a file (PDFs, documents, images, audio), or write a note. On the Mac, drop files straight onto the window.

Email, through Buddy Mail#

Forward a newsletter, a receipt or a long email to your Buddy address and save it from Buddy's inbox. See Buddy and Buddy Mail.

From ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor#

With the connector added, just ask: "save this link to my Recallr" or "save these notes to Recallr as a note". The assistant calls save, which adds a link or a note and never edits or deletes anything.

What happens after you save#

  1. Recallr reads the original: the transcript of a video or podcast, the text of an article or PDF, the words in a screenshot.
  2. It writes a summary and key points and files the save under a topic.
  3. It connects the save to related things you saved before, and notes when two saves disagree.
  4. It becomes searchable by meaning, so you can find it later by what it was about, not by where you saved it.

Most saves are ready within a minute. Long videos and large PDFs take a little longer; until then the save shows as processing.
